Pharmacy Technician
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Technician will assist in delivering safe and effective pharmaceutical care within the hospital setting, manage medication distribution, and ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Responsible for preparing and distributing medications, operating and monitoring pharmacy automated technology systems, maintaining inventory, performing quality assurance audits, providing customer service, and maintaining accurate and confidential pharmacy records.
Education - High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Experience - 1+ years healthcare, preferably in a hospital setting
Certification - Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
